Bellami Hair Extension Review
REVIEWS
I will say first and foremost that out of the hundreds of Blog/Youtube reviews I have read there was maybe one or two poor reviews. Lets just get this out there and say, we all know how rude and truthful the internet can be, if there is something bad to be said you can almost guarantee that someone will not hold back when they have the choice to hide their identity so this was the first real lightbulb for me.
PRICE
For someone who has spent a ridiculous amount of money on finding the perfect extensions the Bellmi price tag of $160.00 (for the 160 gram 20" set) is amazing in my opinion. They also have an alternate option of 22" 220 gram set for $209.99. I spent approximately $170.00 every six months at Sally's on my clip in extensions that were half the thickness, that shed, and that I wore to the point of no return. I can already tell the difference in these and I have only had them a week. There is less shedding, double the thickness when i received them, and about double the amount in the pack.
SHIPPING
Another aspect that I LOVED. Shipping....$5.00! You can't go wrong. (Please note I live in Canada and it may be different around the world)
COUPON CODES
The coupon codes are endless. Almost all beauty gurus (including CarliBel55) on YouTube are now wearing Bellamis and almost all have coupons to save shipping costs on extensions. If you do not subscribe to many beauty gurus on YouTube you can find these codes literally by doing a simple google search under "Bellami coupon code". You are bound to find something there.
ARRIVAL
The extensions arrive in a plastic loose case much like when you purchase them from a beauty supplier. However a genius idea....Bellami includes a small separate pack on the bottom with one three clip extension within it so that in the case that you may have ordered a colour that does not match your hair, they will take them back. If the seal is broken on the large part that contains the rest of the extensions there is a no refund policy. Totally fair, and clever!
THICKNESS/QUALITY
Bellami extensions are made out of 100% Remy Human hair which is pretty much the best quality hair on the market. It is soft and has a natural shine and is perfectly safe to style with heat. I must say that Bellami has been the most generous in terms of thickness and the amount of hair they give when it comes to extension companies. The clips are already sewn onto the hair and the hair does not thin out toward the bottom as most extensions do. It is thick all the way through and blends perfectly with any hair thickness. Personally, i have quite thick hair and have found it difficult to blend most extensions however with the Bellamis I wear half the pack and they blend perfectly. Lastly, the clips that are attached to the hair are super super strong and hold so well.
COLOUR OPTIONS/COLOUR MATCH
The girls at Bellami are really hands on to the point that they actually suggest you send them a picture of you so they can help you colour match your extensions to your real hair if you are not sure.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
These girls were amazing. I must say that their marketing techniques were spot on. They truly make each customer feel special and I think thats a great aspect this company has. For example, they will use phrases such as "Hi beautiful!", "We apologize, lovely", and "you're item has been shipped, darling". Those were all taken from emails between myself and their staff. It really is....lovely!
Overall the entire experience with Bellami was great from the customer service to the product. I HIGHLY recommend these hair extensions for anyone in the market for new ones!
Extensions tend to come all the same length so in order to blend them a bit better before wearing them I usually wash and trim them. I've included some pictures below. I did not style my hair with any heat for these pictures. After washing the extensions and my hair I blow dried it for about five minutes, just enough so that it was not dripping wet (I have quite thick hair). I then clipped in two rows of the four clip tracks and two rows of the two clip tracks, combed it all together and braided it in one with braid. I slept like that over night and just unbraided it in the morning, maybe brushed through it one or two times.
Until next time,
